Why I Feed at 5am

People ask why I get up at 5am to feed before work. The answer is hard to explain if you don’t already understand.

There’s something about the barn at dawn. Steam rising from the water trough. Horses alert and waiting. The routine that anchors the day before the chaos starts.

It’s not convenient. It’s necessary. Different thing entirely.
